An innovative new website is up in running in the UK called Walkit.com This new website allows you to enter information for walking in London which allows you to see how long and how to walk to where you would want to go.
"The idea came from watching colleagues dive into the tube or taxis, while knowing that their destination was within easy walking distance," Jamie Walton, Founder.
Could this be done in the Philadelphia region? How many people say they want to walk to work, the grocery store etc. but just don't have the time or know how. Also as this region continues to grow in tourism this could be a great asset to those unfamiliar with the city and suburban layout.
